Gib Versfeld (Founder / Director) was a goaltender at Johns Hopkins University, and previously captained and led Amherst College to the National Championship game in 2019.
The founder of Goalie by Gib, numerous recruiting events and club teams have called upon him to lead their boys and girls goalie training, including Apex Lacrosse Events, Iron 44, and Clippers LC. He has been a recognizable face among goalies over the last four years, serving as a consistent guest coach with top goalie companies including: Goaliesmith, Foundation Lacrosse, and The Goalie Workshop.
At the collegiate level, Gib has provided goalie consulting to Haverford College and has trained numerous men’s and women’s goalies at Division 1, 2, and 3 schools including: Yale, Dartmouth, Richmond, Holy Cross, and many others. Gib understands that goalie is both a physical and mental game. His coaching philosophy emphasizes a balanced approach that integrates technical expertise with mental training, helping develop each goalie to their next level.

Luke Caracciolo (Lead Instructor) grew up in Northern Virginia where he attended Paul VI Catholic high school. Coach Caracciolo was a standout goalie for the Bryant University men’s lacrosse team from 2019-2022 and did his Graduate year at Johns Hopkins University. He was a key contributor from the beginning of his career, being named to the NEC All-Rookie Team, Honorable Mention All-Freshman Team and led the NEC and Division I freshman goalies nationally in goals against average (9.66 GAA) and save percentage (57%), while his save percentage was also the fifth in the nation among all Division I goalies. Coach Caracciolo started nearly every contest as Bryant’s goalie and was a team captain. He anchored a defense that powered the Bryant Bulldogs to the NEC tournament championship where hewas named NEC Tournament MVP along with All-New England First Team honors after tying his career-high with 18 saves in the conference title game. His college career concludes with conference championships, All-Region accolades, setting the program record for saves in a game (20), and ranks first in school history for saves per game and third in career saves (534).
Played four years of lacrosse at Paul VI Catholic … Virginia state champion and Washington Catholic Athletic Conference runner-up in 2018 … First-team all-state, second-team All-WCAC and second-team All-Met in 2018 … Second-team all-state and third-team All-WCAC in 2017.
