2020 FALL FIELD HOCKEY
 

Fall registration is closed.  We are no longer accepting any more registrants

AFH is working on safety guidelines for our fall season.  Commissioner Megan Sullivan will be in contact soon with details.  If you have any questions, feel free to email Megan at arlingtonfieldhockey@gmail.com. 

 
 
HOW DOES AFH WORK?
 
AFH has teams in grade-based divisions.  
 
Grades 3 + 4 (FH34)
Grades 5 + 6 (FH56)
Grades 7 + 8 (FH78)
 
Registration includes your uniform and membership to USA field hockey, which is mandatory for playing in AFH.  Arlington Field Hockey is a sanctioned member of USA field hockey and is run by Level 1 certified coach, Megan Sullivan
 
  • This division is for girls and boys entering 3rd and 4th grade in the Fall of 2020.
  • Practices TBD
  • Games will be played on Sunday mornings, and occasionally Saturdays
  • Home games will be in Arlington. Away games will be in Great Falls at Nike #4 or Herndon HS.
  • Games will be 7v7 on modified fields.
  • Registration will open in late may for previous players and June for the rest of the public.
  • This division is for girls and boys entering 5th and 6th grade in the Fall of 2020.
  • Practices TBD
  • Games will be played on Sunday mornings, and occasionally Saturdays
  • Home games will be in Arlington. Away games will be in Great Falls at Nike #4 or Herndon HS.
  • Games will be 7v7 on modified fields.
  • Registration will open in late may for previous players and June for the rest of the public.
 
  • This division is for girls and boys entering 7th and 8th grade in the Fall of 2020.
  • Practices TBD
  • Games will be played on Sundays, and occasionally Saturdays
  • Home games are on Arlington fields and away games will be in Great Falls, Nike #4 or Word of Grace in Chantilly, VA.
  • Games will be 11v11 on full fields.
  • Players who are NOT on High School teams will be given preference over those who are playing with their HS team, but if there is room, HS field hockey players may play AFH
  • Registration will open in late may for previous players and June for the rest of the public.
